ABSTRACT

We present the results of a combined experimental and computational study of the structures of gas-phase M+(N2O)n (M?=?Li, Al) complexes. Infrared spectra were recorded in the region of the N2O asymmetric (N?=?N) stretch using photodissociation spectroscopy employing the inert messenger technique. Unlike in our previous studies on M+(N2O)n (M?=?Cu, Ag, Au and M?=?Co, Rh, Ir) complexes, N– and O–bound isomers in this case are near isoenergetic and are not distinguished spectroscopically at this resolution. In the case of Li+ complexes, there is, however, evidence for the presence of bound N2 moieties, indicating the presence of inserted, OLi+N2(N2O)n–type structures. The weak N2 band lies to the blue of the signature of molecularly N– and O–bound ligands and is well–reproduced in the simulated spectra of energetically low-lying structures computed from density functional theory. No such inserted isomers are observed in the case of Al+(N2O)n complexes whose infrared spectra can be understood on the basis of molecularly-bound N2O ligands. The differences in M+(N2O)n structures observed for these closed–shell, ns2, metal centres relative to other metal cations are discussed in terms of the likely bonding motifs.  相似文献

The preparation, characterization and catalytic application of Co (III) salen complex loaded on cobalt ferrite‐silica nanoparticle [CoFe2O4@SiO2@ Co (III) salen complex] are described. Co (III) salen complex loaded on ferrite cobalt‐silica nanoparticles is characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy‐dispersive X‐ray, vibrating‐sample magnetometer and Fourier transform‐infrared analyses. The thermal stability of the material is also determined by thermal gravimetric analysis. An average crystallite size is determined from the full‐width at half‐maximum of the strongest reflection by using Scherrer's approximation by powder X‐ray diffractometry. The efficiency of CoFe2O4@SiO2@Co (III) salen complex is investigated in the synthesis of spirooxindoles of malononitrile, various isatins with 1,3‐dicarbonyles. The nanocatalyst demonstrated excellent catalytic activity that gave the corresponding coupling products in good to excellent yields. Moreover, the recoverability and reusability of CoFe2O4@SiO2@Co (III) salen complex is investigated where nanocatalyst could be recovered and reused at least five times without any appreciable decrease in activity and selectivity, which confirmed its high efficiency and high stability under the reaction conditions and during recycling stages.  相似文献

Upon activation with diethylaluminium chloride (Et2AlCl), a series of phenyl‐substituted α‐diimine nickel precatalysts conducted 4‐methyl1pentene (4MP) and ethylene (E) (co)polymerizations via controlled chain‐walking to generate branched amorphous polymers with high molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn < 1.6). The obtained poly(4MP)s were amorphous elastomers with glass transition temperature (Tg) of ?10 ~ ?24 °C, which are higher than that of E‐4MP copolymer ( ? 63.0 °C). At room temperature (25 °C), 4MP polymerization proceeds in a living manner. The microstructures of the produced poly(4MP)s indicated the 2,1 and 1,2insertion followed by chain‐walking, the latter being predominant. The NMR analyses of the polymers showed that the obtained poly(4MP) possessed methyl, isobutyl, 2,4dimethylpentyl and 2methylhexyl groups, while the isobutyl and 2,4dimethylalkyl branches derived from 4MP were observed in the E‐4MP copolymer. The branch structures and the insertiontype of monomer were depended on the polymerization temperature, and the content of methyl branch increased with an increase in the polymerization temperature.  相似文献

Three multinuclear Cu (II), Zn (II) and Cd (II) complexes, [Cu2(L)(μ‐OAc)]·CHCl2 ( 1 ), [Zn2(L)(μ‐OAc)(H2O)]·3CHCl3 ( 2 ) and [{Cd2(L)(OAc)(CH3CH2OH)}2]·2CH3CH2OH ( 3 ) with a single‐armed salamo‐like dioxime ligand H3L have been synthesized, and characterized by FT‐IR, UV–vis, X‐ray crystallography and Hirshfeld surfaces analyses. The ligand H3L has a linear structure and C‐H···π interactions between the two molecules. The complex 1 is a dinuclear Cu (II) complex, Cu1 and Cu2 are all five‐coordinate possessing distorted square pyramidal geometries. The complex 2 also forms a dinuclear Zn (II) structure, and Zn1 and Zn2 are all five‐coordinate bearing distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries. The complex 3 is a symmetrical tetranuclear Cd (II) complex, and Cd1 is a hexa‐coordinate having octahedral configuration and Cd2 is hepta‐coordinate with a pentagonal bipyramidal geometry, and it has π···π interactions inside the molecule. In addition, fluorescence properties of the ligand and its complexes 1 – 3 have also been discussed.  相似文献

Moreover, we provide infinitely many examples of six-dimensional rational homology spheres which admit almost complex structures, and infinitely many which do not. Aminocarbonylation of aryl halides, homogeneously catalysed by palladium, is an efficient method that can be employed for obtaining amides for pharmaceutical and synthetic applications. In this work, palladium (II) complexes containing P^N ligands were studied as catalysts in the aminocarbonylation of iodobenzene in the presence of diethylamine. Two types of systems were used: a palladium (II) complex formed in situ; and one prepared prior to the catalytic reaction. In general, the palladium complexes studied achieved high conversions in an average reaction time of less than 2 hr, which is less than that for the standard system (Pd (II)/PPh3) used. The pre‐synthesized complexes were faster than their in situ counterparts, as the latter require an induction time to form the Pd/P^N species. The structure and electronic properties of the ligand P^N can influence both the activity and the selectivity of the reaction, stabilizing the acyl‐palladium intermediates formed in a better manner.  相似文献

A novel Cu (II) Schiff‐base complex immobilized on core‐shell magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4@SPNC) was successfully designed and synthesized. The structural features of these nanoparticles were studied and confirmed by using various techniques including FT‐IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), X‐Ray diffraction (XRD), wavelength dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (WDX), and inductively coupled plasma (ICP). These newly synthesized nanoparticles have been used as efficient heterogeneous catalytic system for one‐pot multicomponent synthesis of new pyrano[2,3‐b]pyridine‐3‐carboxamide derivatives. Notably, the catalyst could be easily separated from the reaction mixture by using an external magnet and reused for several successive reaction runs with no significant loss of activity or copper leaching. The present protocol benefits from a hitherto unreported MNPs‐immobilized Cu (II) Schiff‐base complex as an efficient nanocatalyst for the synthesis of newly reported derivatives of pyrano[2,3‐b]pyridine‐3‐carboxamide from one‐pot multicomponent reactions.  相似文献

Bifunctional catalysts bearing two catalytic sites, Lewis acidic organometallic titanocene and Brønsted acidic COOH, have been assembled in situ from Cp2TiCl2 with carboxylic acid ligands, showing high catalytic activity over an intramolecular Mannich reaction towards synthesis of 2‐aryl‐2,3‐dihydroquinolin‐4(1H)‐ones. The determination of the bifunctional catalyst Cp2Ti(C8H4NO6)2 was elucidated by single X‐ray HR‐MS and investigation of catalytic behavior. In particular, masking the Brønsted acidic COOH catalytic site with dormant COOMe lowered the reaction yield greatly, indicating that two catalytic sites work together to maintain high catalytic efficiency.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and X‐ray characterization of the N6‐benzyl‐N6‐methyladenine ligand (L) and three metal complexes, namely [Zn(HL)Cl3]·H2O ( 1 ), [Cd(HL)2Cl4] ( 2 ) and [H2L]2[Cd3(μ‐L)2(μ‐Cl)4Cl6]·3H2O ( 3 ). Complex 1 consists of the 7H‐adenine tautomer protonated at N3 and coordinated to a tetrahedral Zn(II) metal centre through N9. The octahedral Cd(II) in complex 2 is N9‐coordinated to two N6‐benzyl‐N6‐methyladeninium ligands (7H‐tautomer protonated at N3) that occupy apical positions and four chlorido ligands form the basal plane. Compound 3 corresponds to a trinuclear Cd(II) complex, where the central Cd atom is six‐coordinated to two bridging μ‐L and four bridging μ‐Cl ligands. The other two Cd atoms are six‐coordinated to three terminal chlorido ligands, to two bridging μ‐Cl ligands and to the bridging μ‐L through N3. Essentially, the coordination patterns, degree of protonation and tautomeric forms of the nucleobase dominate the solid‐state architectures of 1 – 3 . Additionally, the hydrogen‐bonding interactions produced by the endocyclic N atoms and NH groups stabilize high‐dimensional‐order supramolecular assemblies. Moreover, energetically strong anion–π and lone pair (lp)–π interactions are important in constructing the final solid‐state architectures in 1 – 3 . We have studied the non‐covalent interactions energetically using density functional theory calculations and rationalized the interactions using molecular electrostatic potential surfaces and Bader's theory of atoms in molecules. We have particularly analysed cooperative lp–π and anion–π interactions in 1 and π+–π+ interactions in 3 .  相似文献

A number of oxotitanium(IV) complexes of the type TiOL with bis‐unsymmetric dibasic tetradentate Schiff base (LH2) containing ONNO donor atoms have been synthesized. Mono‐Schiff base (OPD‐HNP) was prepared by the condensation of 1:3 molar ratio of 2‐hydroxy‐1‐naphthaldehyde (HNP) with o‐phenylenediamine (OPD). Dibasic unsymmetric tetradentate diamine Schiff bases were prepared by the reaction of OPD‐HNP with 2‐hydroxyacetophenone, 2‐hydroxypropeophenone, benzoylacetone, acetylacetone and ethylacetoacetate. Further, titanylacetylacetonate was reacted with these ligands to obtain their metal complexes. On the basis of analytical and physiochemical data, the formation of complexes as TiOL was suggested having square pyramidal geometry. Quantum mechanical approach also confirmed this geometry. The assessment of the synthesized ligands and their complexes showed that some behave as good inhibitors of mycelial growth against selected phytopathogic fungi but weak inhibitors against some selected bacteria. A few of them also showed antioxidant properties.  相似文献
